SITUATION:

Finding it - If you are coming from the traffic lights on Kerse Lane (at Bellevue Street), go north or down Garden Street for 300m to Weir Street - turn left and after 50m or so you will find the 36D on the right.

The area is popular for different reasons, including how very convenient it is for the town centre, and how quiet it is. Walking to say the Steeple will take 10 minutes, the retail park (with 24 Hour Tesco) is less, Grahamston station is say 7/8 minutes, Grangemouth is a few minutes by car (although there is plenty bus transport), and the motorway/main road access (to Glasgow/Stirling/Fife/Edinburgh/etc) is not far at Earls Gate.
