Any new dwelling in this location would be resisted unless in line with policy DM3 of the Suffolk Coastal District Local Plan which indicates that replacement dwellings on a one to one basis where they are no more visually intrusive in the countryside than the building to be replaced would be allowed. If there are any queries regarding increasing the size of the original building then they should be advised to submit a request for pre-application planning advice, the forms for which are on the Council's website.
