Castle Semple loch is part of the Clyde and Muirshiel Country Park and offers inland sailing and coaching for beginners. The Firth of Clyde has excellent chandlery and marina services as well as some of the UK’s most scenic and enjoyable coastal sailing.

For those with equestrian interests, surrounding back roads and bridle paths offer miles of pleasant hacking country.

Travel Directions
From Glasgow, travel in a westerly direction on the M8 motorway. At Glasgow Airport after the White Cart Viaduct leave the M8 at Junction 28A and take the A737 sign posted Irvine. Continue along the A737 for about 9 miles to reach the Clerksbridge Toll Roundabout. Continue on the A737 and after the Clerksbridge Toll Roundabout look out for the ‘Welcome To North Ayrshire’ sign, 200 yards after the sign turn hard left into the driveway of Badmany House. Continue along the driveway to find Badmany House and Cottage."
