Description - The property is beautifully presented well-proportioned detached period cottage of local Blue Lias stone elevations under a tiled roof. The cottage has been improved by the current owners over the recent years and retains much of its original character including exposed beams, built in fireplaces plus plank and muntin panelling.

Accommodation - An entrance porch with a door to the storage/boot room. A heavy panelled door opens into the sitting room which has double aspect windows, deep inglenook fireplace with bread oven and heavy beamed ceilings. The kitchen has been fitted with hand painted units which include an integrated dishwasher, washing machine, granite work surfaces, double bowl butler sink, space for a Range cooker, wine fridge, fridge freezer and a Travertine tiled floor. Steps lead up to the dining room, which includes wood effect flooring, fireplace and a wood burning stove with a door and windows to the gardens.

On the first floor there is an impressive master suite with an exposed plank and muntin wall, built in wardrobes and door to the en suite. The en suite has exposed beamed ceilings, a Velux window, bath, shower and WC. Bedroom two includes a range of built in furniture and a separate shower room. The shower room includes a double tiled shower cubicle, WC and wash basin. From the landing there is access to bedroom three which is within the roof space and has beamed ceilings and a Velux window.

Outside - Externally the house sits within gardens which extend to approximately a third of an acre. There is a five bar gate opening out onto a gravel hardstanding that provides parking for a number of vehicles and there is access to a carport with stairs that lead up to the first floor office. There is a further utility room which includes plumbing and space for a washing machine and tumble dryer. The gardens are delightful and include a number of specimen trees and plants and a substantial area of lawn with a pathway running along the length of the garden. In a separate area of the garden there is a vegetable garden with raised beds, a timber workshop, store and polytunnel and enjoys views over neighbouring fields.

Directions - From J25 of the M5 motorway follow signs to Yeovil on the A358. After the Thornfalcon traffic lights take the next left off of the A358 sign posted to Hatch Beauchamp.
