DESCRIPTION Quite simply, a superb Victorian home that we have fallen in love with. There are so many aspects of this home that we think are great and will appeal to buyers looking for the charm and character. Our clients have done a wonderful job updating the home to find the balance between character and practicality to create a lovely family home.

Entering the home the light and space is evident - the wood burner is the perfect introduction to the character. The sitting room has that cosy feel, but with the added benefit of plenty of natural light coming through the south facing windows. The kitchen is a great size and provides plenty of prep space with the wood surfaces which amplify that country kitchen feel to it. Leading from the kitchen is the dining area which again has plenty of space for a large dining table if you were entertaining guests or having a family meal. Outside is a easily maintainable courtyard, the owners have laid artificial grass and have space for summer bbqs. There is also a large garden store. For dog owners, at the end of the lane there is a gate to lovely countryside walks.

On the first floor are the three bedrooms and a fantastic family bathroom. All bedrooms are a good size, with bedrooms two and three benefiting from facing south, with bedroom two having built in wardrobes. The bathroom is particularly large and measures 10'2 x 9'8, we think there is potential to create an en-suite from the master bedroom by utilising part of the bathroom.

LOCATION The high street is the hub within the hugely popular village. For those that enjoy the outdoors, there are plenty of public footpaths on your doorstep to explore and make the most of. Stroll down the road and pop into The Fellows - our favourite bakers, where the apple and cinnamon croissants are out of this world. One of our go to pubs in the area is The Gardeners Arms - the food is excellent (we highly recommend their H&W Burger!) Further up the road is Wakehurst Place which is part of the National Trust. There is St. Peter's C of E primary school within the village and also Ardingly College, one of the very best independent schools in the South East. A short drive takes you into the beautiful village of Lindfield which provides a more comprehensive range of village facilities. Haywards Heath station with its commuter service to London Victoria and London Bridge in under an hour is just over three miles to the south.
