Full description

Propertyworld is delighted to present this handsome three bedroom Victorian house that will astound you with its size. Boasting over 1300 square feet of internal living space this is one of the largest three bedroom houses we have seen. Naturally all three bedrooms are doubles but what really impresses is the ground floor, with two large reception rooms as well as a stunning 23 ft kitchen diner to the rear which opens directly into the generous rear garden. As well as the pretty decorative features on the exterior the house also boasts plenty of character inside including stripped wooden flooring and original fireplaces. The house really is an ideal family home. The location is great too, in a quiet residential road just off the High Street in Sydenham, with its array of independent shops, restaurants, and cafes. Plenty of green spaces and good local schools will also appeal to families. Transport wise it's within a short walk to Sydenham train and overground whilst Penge East is also easily reached on foot. This won't hang around long so please call 020 8488 0011 to secure one of our limited viewing slots.

Our Vendor Loves...
"When summery days beckon, I can throw open the kitchen doors and breakfast on the terrace , which gets the morning sun (with or without the sunshade up.) It seems a while ago but I remember being out there for weeks on end, last year and the year before. The kitchen has seen much entertaining, as I we have shared 3 significant birthdays during our time, and the long table has seen plenty of use. Broseley Grove is a very local street as it is like a cul-de-sac. No-one passes through, everyone is a neighbour or their visitor, and when we arrived people came to introduce themselves and offer help. We were given a lawnmower by Iris at 22, as she had a spare. We got some hands on gardening advice from my neighbour at 33, and building expertise from 27, when the gate needed fixing. I shall miss my life in The Grove. Plenty of local squirrels, foxes and even a Robin, who asks me what I'm doing in his garden, whenever I get the urge to dig over the earth."
