The Vendor's View - Living here is perfect, you can pop out and everything you need is on the doorstep whether it is shops, the theatre or places of interest and I have always loved that aspect of it. Canterbury West station is within walking distance for connections to nearby towns and the high speed service to London.
I have absolutely loved every moment of living here. The historic feeling I get is amazing, I look out of the windows and can see Canterbury Cathedral. The house itself has a lot of history, which I have enjoyed learning about over the years. I have loved the elegance of the Georgian style, everyone who comes to visit always comments on how beautiful the house is. People tend to congregate in the kitchen as it is homely.
There is a dome in the ceiling on the top floor, it is an amazing feature adding to the grand atmosphere. The feeling of space is made by the large rooms across all the floors and high ceilings. Looking out onto the patio garden provides another lovely viewpoint.
Having tried to buy this house twice it means a lot to me, I fell in love with it and have so many happy memories here. I will miss the convenience of the location when I come to move and the home itself as it is very close to my heart.
