We have loved living on Courtenay Road. We know many our neighbours and love the community feel of Leytonstone. Our daughter attends an outstanding school a short walk across Wanstead Flats and we have enjoyed many a picnic with friends out on those fields while the children play in the green space. Our children go to weekly forest school sessions on Wanstead Flats, and we like to take part in Parkrun, the weekly 5k community run that starts just one minute walk away on the playing fields.  We have enjoyed cycling to Wanstead Park at weekends and trying out the recently opened bars and restaurants very close to us and following the progress of the other ventures soon to open.
