About the development:

Long Hazel Lodges is a gated development surrounded by mature landscaped grounds in Sparkford, South Somerset. We currently have four detached residential lodges for sale for ownership and occupation by the over 50s. Long Hazel Lodges is a small family run business which has remained under the same ownership since 1997.

We provide each lodge plot ready for siting your chosen lodge on our development. We sell the lodge to you, arrange the transport from the manufacturer, the siting and connection to all services. We will put you in touch with manufacturers to discuss your requirements especially regarding internal design and layout and arrange factory visits. All lodges can be adapted with wheelchair access, ramps, wider doors and purpose built grab rails. Optional furniture packages are available.

For VAT purposes HMRC recognise these lodges as zero rated. A Mobile Homes Act written statement will be issued to each lodge owner and an annual pitch fee applies (2000 per annum rising with inflation).

Please note buy to let is not permitted. We have a permanent fully residential Mobile Homes Act Licence E/90 issued by the Local Authority and all planning permissions for continuous occupation throughout the year are in place.
