Plot 2- a 1 bedroom ground floor apartment

The Easterns is an exciting new development set within the heart of the pretty and thriving market town of Sudbury, Suffolk.
Location, Location, Location !! They say!!
Well you couldn't get better than this, its just 200m from the towns train station for your daily commute, less than 100m from the bus station, the leisure centre with all of its amazing facilities is around a 30 second walk and opposite on two sides you have the modern Waitrose Superstore and the more traditional and much loved 'Roy’s' for just about everything you need right on your doorstep. Just Perfect!! Should you crave the stunning High Street its just around the corner, less than 2 minutes walk.
This modern, new build apartment building consists of 10No 1 Bedroom apartments, 3No 2 bedroom apartments and 2No stunning 2 Bedroom roof top penthouses, the views of the town are just amazing!!
This romantic and sympathetically designed building was the work of local Sudbury architect Whymark and Moulton and we think they have captured the moment with this stunning design incorporating both the new and old aspects of the town in retaining the existing Victorian façade as they do in the most sought-after areas of our capital city. What an inspired idea!!! Restoration works have taken place to this aspect to maintain the feel of the historic junction so nothing was lost in the process of lifting the site into a modern and attractive new residential development.

The Apartments themselves have their own message, the neutral and quality finishes and detail lend themselves to an eclectic mix of modern and traditional with their 'Suffolk' traditional door style adjacent to the modern slotted 2nd fix joinery, a mix of award winning sash windows supplied by renowned local sash window manufacturer Mumford & Wood and the ultra-modern satin finish Aluminium windows by local company Hadleigh Glass just 30 minutes up the road!!!
The high-grade kitchens are the work of JC Kitchens, also based in Sudbury and have the quality fixtures and fittings we expected in this prestigious development.
Bathrooms have been supplied by the popular 'Victoria Plumb' group and to stay true to the area the Reina heated towel radiators are manufactured in Gt Yeldham, another local company.

Sudbury sits close to the River Stour on the Suffolk Essex border, this delightful market town is surrounded on three sides by its famous water meadows and vast scenery. Originally a Suffolk wool town famous for its historic links to Thomas Gainsborough and Simon of Sudbury, the town boasts a wealth of history with its local Medieval villages, such as Lavenham, Long Melford, Cavendish, Clare and Boxford, which are all within 7 miles of the town, and easily accessible with regular bus services to these and beyond.

Why not relax and enjoy the ambience of this ancient market town with its impressive Market Hill and busy North Street, all boasting a wealth of local pubs, coffee shops, wine bars , restaurants and takeaways. Take a visit to Gainsborough's House, with its collection of original paintings by the renowned artist, Sir Thomas Gainsborough, and have a look at the museum which depicts the artist's life. In the evening why not take a visit to the Towns Quay Theatre, where there is a regular programme of entertainment, such as plays put on by the local amateur dramatic society, with live music, films and art exhibitions.

Twice a week on Thursday's and Saturday's the town comes alive as its "Market Day", with a variety of stalls such as Green Groceries, Local Cheese and Meat producers all clamouring for business. In addition to this throughout the Summer months there are French and Italian markets held on a Sunday, as well as a Farmers' Market on the last Friday of the month, held inside the deconsecrated Church of St Peters. Sudbury still has many independent shops, a wonderful independent department store, Winch & Blatch, as well as the usual high street stores with Waitrose, Aldi, Roys and Co-op, as well as Sainsburys and Tesco Supermarkets all located in and around the Town.

Sudbury's Railway Station is on a branch line which crosses the beautiful Stour Valley and passes over the amazing Grade II listed railway viaduct, located at Chappel, which also has its Railway Museum know famously for its annual Beer Festival, the Gainsborough line as its known, continues through to Marks Tey Station which has its own main link to London Liverpool Street.

Further afield are the towns of Bury St Edmunds, Colchester and Ipswich all within 35 minutes, whilst the City of Cambridge can be located to North West of the town, approximately about an hour away, with its University and wealth of history. Sudbury is a great place for commuting, only being 70 miles from Central London and 30 miles from Stansted Airport, so this is the ideal place to live.
