On climbing the hill entering the village take the second left hand turning before the church sign posted Yeoford, then take the next left signposted for Penstone, Follow this road for a short distance where by you will find a Mansbridge Balment for sale board on left hand side shortly before the railway bridge.

From Crediton, take the A377 Barnstaple road for about 1.5 miles and turn left at Barnstaple Cross as signed Yeoford and Coleford. Proceed for approx. 2.5 miles into the village of Coleford and turn left at the crossroads as signed to Colebrooke. Follow this country lane taking the first left turning signed to Penstone and continue through the hamlet, go across the ford and under the railway bridge and 2 Waterleat Cottage will be found on the right.
