There are also a variety of good state and grammar schools, and the latter include Stroud High, Marling School and Pate’s.
There is a huge choice of sporting opportunities in the local area including a number of golf courses and National Hunt racing at Cheltenham. The surrounding countryside offers many lovely walks.

The Old Rectory sits within a good sized garden extending to about 0.7 acre in all. There is a large south-facing terrace along the front of the house, beyond which are sweeping lawns bordered by mature trees and shrubs.
