Full description

Tenure: Freehold

Lyndale has been sympathetically renovated by the current owners giving the property a light and airy feel with electric heating and UPVC double glazed windows and external doors. The property has superb parking which is a real bonus within Port Isaac and is at the upper end of the village close enough to stroll down but away from the hustle and bustle of the tourists. Within the property is a superb refurbished kitchen with built in Smeg appliances opening into a dining room, a separate living room together with 3 bedrooms and family bathroom. 2 of the bedrooms are on the first floor from which there are some pleasant sea and coastal views.
Agents Note. There is currently the option of buying the garage and office built within what would have originally been the curtilage of Lyndale for £40,000. This would greatly enhance the property and subject to consents would possibly provide an annex for additional accomadation.

Location

Port Isaac is a pretty Cornish coastal village enjoying a great situation along the rugged North Cornish coastline. Port Isaac is still a fishing port although tourism now plays a huge part of village life and the village is nationally and internationally renowned for its association with the television series, Doc Martin.

The village still has a friendly local community with its own doctor's surgery, primary school, various shops and restaurants including 2 of Nathan Outlaw's establishments where he holds 2 Michelin stars. Most of the older part of the village consists of picturesque 18th and 19th century cottages with narrow alleys and streets winding down to the steep hillside towards the beautiful harbour at the bottom. At low tide is a sandy beach with an abundance of rock pools.
The property is accessed from the driveway with the accommodation briefly comprising the following:-
