HOW TO FIND IT Leave Totnes on the A381 Kingsbridge road. Towards the top of the hill turn left, signposted Ashprington and Cornworthy. Go through the villages of Ashprington and Tuckenhay (you can bypass Ashprington by turning right before reaching it) and continue to Cornworthy. Turn left when you see the abbey gatehouse ruin and continue into the village where Priory View is on the left. Number 6 is on the left.
