The Beach

About five minutes drive from Kinloch House, a short walk through the dunes reveals the unspoilt beach and the shoreline. To the north pushing out in the the sea are the rocks of Scotstown Point, a favourite place for seals to haul themselves out to rest and sunbathe. There is clean flat sand to run on, dunes to climb in and roll down, rock pools and pill boxes and anti tank defences to explore and the sea to swim in.

There are some 107 acres of sand dunes held in place by marram grass. With steep, sandy bowls
and gullies the dunes are great for adventures,
barbecues and bracing walks. Wild flowers
abound in spring and summer and in the
winter, woodcock rest here on their migration
from eastern Europe.

There is a slight discrepancy in the southern boundary of lot 4. The correct boundaries as per the title plan for lot 4 are shown along with the photographs.
