Description

A newly converted self contained character one bedroom first floor apartment with bay window, vaulted ceilings, exposed beams and part stone walls. Galleried bedroom. Small select development near the town centre and station.

Situation

The popular seaside town of Teignmouth is set on the lovely South Devon coastline, approximately 14 miles from the Cathedral City and county town of Exeter. Teignmouth has a fine promenade with sandy beaches and a classic crescent of imposing Georgian buildings. There are boating opportunities on the Estuary and the “back beach” has a selection of public houses and restaurants in a superb marine setting. The town has a good selection of independent shops and cafes, along with a Waitrose supermarket and a Morrisons superstore. Teignmouth also has a good range of primary schools, along with a well-regarded secondary school and Trinity School; being a private school offering both primary and secondary education. There is an 18-hole golf course set on the hills outside the town, the Teign Corinthian Yacht Club and a mainline railway station offering a direct link to London Paddington. Teignmouth also offers fast access to the A380, the M5 and A38, making for an easy commute to Exeter and beyond.

Directions

From Exeter, exit the A380 following the sign to Teignmouth on the B3192. Progress towards the town past the secondary school on your left hand side and proceed to the bottom of the hill. At the traffic lights turn left and immediately before Waitrose on your right hand side proceed straight on at the roundabout, taking the next left before the railway station into Shute hill. Cross the railway bridge and proceed up the hill to the junction. Turn left onto Higher Brimley Road and Mardon House will be found along on the left hand side.
