"The house was beautifully designed and built in 1998 and from the outside it has the look of a lovely old Georgian farmhouse, however inside it has been given a much more modern look and feel, which was something else that drew us to it. We have a lovely big open-plan kitchen-and-breakfast room, two further large reception rooms and each bedroom is generously proportioned, so we've never had to compromise on space. It was in great condition when we moved here but over time we've done a few things to enhance it further but nothing too major. We added a studio above the garage, placed Canadian oak flooring in the lounge and hall and we also added a rear boot room and side reception porch. It's all in immaculate condition and just like it was when we came here it's ready for the new owners to simply move in and enjoy."
"The garden is another lovely part of the property and during our time here we've had it beautifully landscaped by a local garden designer," continues the owner. "It's very peaceful and private and as well as a nice-size lawn and mature borders of shrubs and flowers, we also have lots of space for outside entertaining. It's a feature that I think I'll really miss when we leave."

"Something that was very important to us when we were looking for a new home was the quality and proximity of the schools," continues the owner. "Our three children have all passed through East Bergholt Primary School and they were able to walk there within a couple of minutes."
"We've had fifteen very happy years in this house and we'll take away some wonderful memories of our time here," says owner. "It's a fabulous family home and the village location really couldn't be better."
