Note from Owner: "We moved here from Hackney over 3 years ago and immediately fell in love with the area and have enjoyed seeing all the new changes, such as the pedestrianisation of Francis Road with all it's new bars, eateries, boutique shops and yoga studio. Having the central line so close gives great access to central London and Stratford with Westfield Shopping centre and the Olympic Park and you can also take the Overground to Gospel Oak for a walk on Hampstead Heath or all the way round to Richmond. Epping Forest and Wanstead Flats are nearby and we love the fact that we are so well connected to central london, yet can feel in the middle of the countryside within 5 minutes. With Eat17 due to open soon in Leytonstone and some amazing pubs and restaurants nearby we really are spoiled for choice and feel very lucky to live in such a great area. There seem to be new openings and improvements happening every day and as Waltham Forest has also just won London Borough of Culture we can only see this continuing long into the future. We are also lucky to be in the catchment area for some wonderful schools, including Newport School which is awarded outstanding by Ofsted.

Our road itself is peaceful and friendly and feels like a real community. We've put a lot of love and care into the flat and painstakingly renovated it with a new bathroom and kitchen, and reinstated some cast iron fireplaces. So whether we decide to go out or stay in, we are always happy and comfortable and make the most of our south-facing garden that gets the sun all day. The tree at the end has beautiful pink blossom in the Spring. We've loved every minute of living here and hope the next owners will be just as happy!"
