Muirtown is located west of Inverness and is the entrance to the Caledonian Canal via the nearby Seaport Marina and indeed the access to the world famous Loch Ness.

The Canal and Marina is very popular with tourists and local walkers alike.

While Muirtown nestles just outside of the hub of bustling Inverness centre, it is ideally located as a base for exploring the rest of the Highlands and all it’s hidden gems.

Without touching Inverness, you can take a short 20 to 30 minute drive to Drumnadrochit. The hub for tourists to Loch Ness. From here you can explore the West Coast by driving along the famous Loch to Fort Augustus and eventually the vibrant town of Fort William where Ben Nevis is located. Further up the coast you come to the Kyle of Lochalsh where you can access the magical Isle of Skye.

Again without touching Inverness you can drive along the the Beauty Firth to explore the East coast and far North of the Highlands through some of the most spectacular and stunning scenery in Europe and beyond.

The Black Isle for instance has Bottle Nose Dolphins. A testament to clean unpolluted waters. There is far too much about this part of the world to write here so I will just mention that Inverness is not of the fastest growing places in Europe for nothing.

Clean unpolluted air, a plethora of beaches and wildlife, local produce and stunning scenery makes it an ideal choice for people who want to raise a healthy family or are simply dropping out of the rat race. Oh yes, and the crime rate here is almost none existent.

I personally would highly recommend a viewing of this spacious apartment and indeed a wander around the immediate area because it won’t fail to impress.
