The Vendor's View - We’ve lived in this setting for over 35 years having moved here from the property next door. The city centre is within walking distance, along with the cricket ground, a number of highly-rated schools and the countryside. We feel it is a very well-connected position as we have easy access to the coast and connections for travelling out of the area too.
Our home is filled with light which makes the spaces feel very welcoming throughout. The living room is a lovely social area and although it is a large room it still feels cosy in the winter with the wood burner on the go. There is plenty of off-road parking for visiting family and friends and we have hosted many happy dinner parties here. There is ample boarded roof space too which could be utilised in many ways.
There is a free-flowing atmosphere from inside to out. You head into the garden onto the patio and then it slopes down to the huge outside space. There is an outbuilding with power and water, while we have a separate brick-built store too, which could easily be turned into an office – so the versatile spaces also have further potential.
The time has come for us to move on to be closer to our family, but we are going to miss having everything on the doorstep when we come to leave. The easy access for countryside walks and access to all major amenities has made this a brilliant place to live.
