A handsome house indeed - discreetly tucked away in this idyllic location enjoying a high degree of privacy and some far-reaching country views. Constructed in 1994 for the current owners, great care and attention has been taken to create light-filled accommodation which has is both practical and spacious and positioned well to take advantage of this sunny position.

The ground floor is approached by an entrance lobby straight into a generous RECEPTION HALL which has a useful coat cupboard and underfloor storage. There is a particularly generous SITTING ROOM with windows to three sides providing considerable light, and a substantial fireplace with fitted Villager wood-burner to toast your toes! Off this room is a GARDEN ROOM, with double doors to a paved patio area well-positioned for the afternoon and evening sun.

Also on on the ground floor is the DINING ROOM, which is sufficiently generous to hold a 10 seater table, and the KITCHEN/BREAKFAST ROOM which has considerable storage provided by an extensive range of base and wall fitted cabinets. Included also is a Rangemaster with 6 plate hob, double oven and grill. Adjacent to this room is a UTILITY ROOM which has plumbing for a variety of white goods including dishwasher and washing machine; it also has both base and wall cabinets plus a sink unit. The oil-fired boiler (Gemini) is located here. A personal door leads outside and to the rear of the utility room is a SHOWER ROOM with double shower, WC and basin.

On the FIRST FLOOR are FIVE BEDROOMS AND TWO BATHROOMS. All the bedrooms can accommodate a double bed and each have lovely views. The Master Bedroom has fitted wardrobes, and an ensuite bathroom, including bath, WC and wash-hand basin. The family bathroom also has a bath, WC and basin.

On the landing there is a large airing cupboard with hot water cylinder, large built-in cupboard and access to the partially boarded loft space.

Outside
The property cannot be seen from the road, and a discreet entrance takes you up to the generous parking area, DOUBLE GARAGE and adjoining WORKSHOP. A matching brick and flint low level wall stylishly separates the lawned garden from the parking area. There is a paved area immediately abutting the Garden Room which has a brick-built barbeque and seating area to take full advantage of the south and west facing aspect. It is an absolute sun-trap! There is pedestrian access to all sides of the property and to the rear is located the oil tank, and wood store. The sheer peacefulness of this location is extraordinary.
