What I love most is the quietness and security of living in a Close without lots of traffic. I love how our balcony overlooks allotments and the lush fields of Dollis Green walk which we also have easy access to and where you can see (but not hear) people walking their dogs or running in the distance, and where you can watch the fireworks on Guy Fawkes night. I love the full windows in our living room which allows a lot of light in and having an open plan space where I can chat and entertain guests while cooking. I have many happy memories of entertaining friends and family in the comfort and bright open space that is our living room.

We are moving because we would like to have a family, have access to a bigger garden and to have more room for when our siblings visit with their children and stay over. Barnet is renowned for good schools so we are actually missing out on a bit of that by moving.

The best thing about this property beyond the home itself is the area. We are only a 10-15 minute walk from the underground, 5 minutes from the bus stop that goes 5 minutes to the high street and 45 minutes to Brent Cross shopping centre. We have great helpful neighbours. We have a lovely high street and there's lots of shopping and services at Barnet Spires shopping centre also on the high street There's a Waitrose, Sainsbury's, Iceland on the high street and Tesco Express near New Barnet in the other direction. We are also only a 10 minute drive from an abundance of great restaurants at Whetstone such as Tootoomoo (the Japanese restaurant that my friends also enjoy and look forward to because they haven't got one as good in their neighbourhoods), Bayleaf (Indian) and Carpe diem (one of London's best places for brunch). These are just our favourites, there are a lot more there. There's a lovely local cinema, Everyman Cinema not far from the underground.
