Sowerbys are delighted to be offering a beautiful and private detached cottage in the popular village of Castle Acre to the market, with the additional benefit of the property being sold with no onward chain. Whilst the property is delightfully modern, it has an abundance of characterful features, creating a truly special home, with excellent craftmanship and attention to detail throughout.

The ground floor of the property is accessed via an oak framed porch, leading through to the beautiful open plan kitchen/dining/family living space, with French doors and dual aspect windows. In addition, there is a separate lounge with a log burner, also with dual aspect windows allowing ample natural light to flood the space, creating a fantastic light and airy feel to the ground floor. Completing the ground floor accommodation is a separate utility room and cloakroom, with the entirety of this floor benefiting from underfloor heating.

The first floor serves three double bedrooms, with the master having its own en-suite, the family bathroom and a sizeable storage cupboard.

To the outside of the cottage, the garden delightfully wraps around the perimeter, surrounded by mature trees and shrubs. Completing the picturesque garden space is an Indian sandstone patio and driveway which provides ample off-road parking.

For further details of this truly spectacular and unique detached cottage please contact our King's Lynn branch and book your viewing to appreciate all this fantastic modern cottage has to offer.

CATSLE ACRE Castle Acre is a picturesque village about four miles from the market town of Swaffham and is well known for its 13th century priory and castle ruins. There are interesting narrow streets which focus around the village green where a tearoom, an antique shop and pub/restaurant can be found. Further amenities include an excellent grocery shop with post office and a new fish and chip shop. There is a book store which is open once a week and at the centre is a fine church. Castle Acre is the mid-point on Peddars Way, the old roman road built to speed soldiers from the south to control the rebellious Iceni. The River Nar flows through fields surrounding the village and these offer an ideal area for country walks. In 2009 a new school was built catering for ages up to year six.
