The area in which Hervey Road is situated is part and parcel of ‘Blackheath' and comprises its Western most border. Blackheath for the layman is any home, which falls within the SE3 postal code but is known more widely as the area directly around and including the ‘Heath' with its centre in Blackheath Village.
