Kirtlington needs little introducton locally! It is, simply, one of the most popular villages in North Oxfordshire. Hence it's a thoroughly peaceful location, but still literally a minute's walk from the bus stop and barely five minutes from the centre of the village.
New Room - The door into the house opens into a hall with flagstone floor. Your staircase is through a lovely old ledge and brace door on the right. This leads up onto a long landing. Immediately to the right the bedroom is large and bright with a roof light and an end window, and overhead is a charming original timber beam. Furnishings include a hanging rail, double bed and a chest of drawers along with a side table. Further on down the hall, the bathroom is similarly light with a large roof light window, this is a good size and includes an airing cupboard with tank. Here there is also a timber beam running through. At the end of the hall the living room is open plan to the kitchen. Floor and wall units offer ample storage and there is a single oven with hobs above, as well as a fridge and microwave provided. At the other end the sitting space is bright with a window overlooking the garden, and provides plenty of room for the large sofa which also doubles as a pull-out bed.
