SOUTH RAYNHAM South Raynham is a very small village a mile south of East Raynham, the ancient family seat of 'Turnip' Townsend - the man credited with developing crop rotation. There's also the quirky and unique Museum of Gas and Local History! There are plenty of pubs and restaurants as well! There's also the Gallows Sports Centre with golf, squash, tennis, archery, rifle shooting and bowls. Rail access to London and Cambridge is via King's Lynn which is 18 miles.
