This purpose-built student accommodation was completed in 2018, so it's pretty much brand new. Everything about the property is finished to a very high standard, making it much more 'hotel' than 'halls'. Multiple unit types from £115 per week.

The students at Phoenix Place benefit from 24/7 security concierge and all access is under CCTV surveillance. Building access is via electronic card with a conventional key for each room. No building can be 100% secure, but for student accommodation in Liverpool we don't think anyone beats us.

The even our 'entry' level rooms are deluxe. They are triple glazed, fully en-suite, with laminate flooring, a double bed designed with massive under-bed storage, wardrobe, fitted desk, office chair, plus your own safe, just like you'd get in a hotel. Plus there's super-fast wifi throughout the building - much better than most hotels. The communal area is beautifully fitted out, with facilities shared by six or eight depending on the configuration. There's also a social space, with a separate quiet collaborative study area.

The large studios are even more spacious and are fully self contained with, microwave, oven, and fridge. Again, fitted out to a standard that you'd expect in a modern boutique hotel.

Each unit has an allocated post box and the 24/7 security will receive larger parcels. Phoenix Place is walking distance to all the city centre campuses, less than eight minutes to JMU Bryom Street, but if that's too much we have secure CCTV covered bike racks.

Phoenix Place has a self-serve laundry, as you would expect, but its app controlled. It'll notify you when a machine is free and your laundry is done. Sometimes it's the little things that can make a big difference!

In the immediate vicinity is a retail park with Sainsbury's Superstore, KFC, Subway, Dominoes and Costa Coffee. The Gym Group recently opened a top class facility adjacent to the retail park. Obviously you can stroll into Liverpool's shopping district for anything you would expect to find in a major UK city.
