On the edge of Goonhavern which is a small village approximately 5- 6 miles from Newquay and 7-8 miles from the City of Truro.   The North Cornish Coast at Perranporth is approximately 2-3 miles distant.

The Chapel
The two storey height open ceiling Chapel comprises an entrance lobby, vestry and the chapel. Built of natural stone and brick and requiring some modernisation.  The length is 13m (42’7) by a width of 9.14m (30’).  The future use of this building is dependent upon a Planning Application and an Officer’s opinion in January 2010 was that they would prefer commercial more than residential.  In view of the Listing status, the conservation people of Cornwall Council have intimated that the pulpit and organ area and the rear first floor seating gallery are retained but some or all of the pews could be removed. 

Former Sunday School Building
This building has an approximate length of 49’ and overall depth of 21’3 and comprises main hall, kitchen area and two toilets.  There is a front entrance from the pavement and internal access to the Chapel.  Planning Permission (Application Number TA11/02433) has just been granted for this property in respect of a conversion to a two bedroom residential unit. 

Nb.  A portion (4m long) of the Sunday School, together with the adjoining double garage is in a different ownership (John Nicholls Funeral Director) and is therefore not included in the sale.  All of the remaining land to the east of the double garage is included in the sale. 

To the east of the double garage is a grassed area and the car park which has a frontage to the main road of 19.5 by a maximum depth of 11.5.  The car park will accommodate 8-9 cars.  Cornwall Council have recently refused Planning Permission for this car park to be developed with a residential property. 

There is a pedestrian pathway leading from the car park to the rear of the building, over which the owners of the Sunday School and adjoining owners have a right of way.
