Newbiggin-by-the-sea has everything you would expect from a small coastal resort. The town is built around the sweeping bay and has a selection of independent shops, cafes and pubs with plenty of options for eating and drinking.

The town is famous to Bertorelli’s, most well known for its
home made ice cream, which is prepared on the premises to a family recipe.

Their coffees use the finest Italian roast coffee beans and they also offer a wide range of teas and fruit infusions.

A totally unique and friendly atmosphere is found here, as well as being housed in one of Newbiggin’s most iconic buildings.

At the end of the bay you will find two of Newbiggin's most recognised buildings, the famous St. Bartholomew's church which dates back to the 13th Century and the newly designed Newbiggin Maritime Centre, both buildings telling the story of the picture perfect town's
history and heritage.

For golfers, Newbiggin has its very own 18 hole seaside
links/moorland course. It presents an array of tight fairways, blind holes and very true greens, all presented in excellent condition (If the wind decides to join in).
