For those with young children, there is the lovely Godstone farm and Play barn which is a great place for children to run around and get involved in fun activities.
For the discerning wine connoisseur you can taste the delights of two vineyards, Denbies Wine Estate (30 minutes) and Godstone Vineyard (15 minutes). Godstone Vineyards lays claim to being Britain's most beautiful; hosting not only wine tasting, but also a fishing lake, as well as a traditional farm shop.
For those who like the horses, there are a number of racecourses nearby, two of which are within ten miles of The Acres- Epsom Downs and Lingfield.
For those of you who are into your golf, there is no shortage of a good round. Within a 15 mile radius there are twelve golf courses. Redhill Golf Centre, Gatwick Manor Golf Club and Copthorne Effiingham Park Golf Club are all within three miles of The Acres.
