Leisure facilities
Walking around Wendover it is clear to see it is steeped in history. It was first mentioned in the Domesday Book in 1086, when 'Wendoure' was a manor owned by Edward the Confessor. A row of thatched roof houses on Tring Road are known as Anne Boleyn's Cottages. They are said to have been a wedding gift to Anne from King Henry VIII.

How to find us
Leave the M1 at the Wendover Junction onto the Bh89 Stablebridge Road. At the T Junction turn Left onto the B6009 Upper Icknield Way. Continue along this road for approximately 1 ¾ miles until reaching a mini roundabout. Turn Left here onto Wood Lane and from here it will be signposted to Princess Mary Gate.
From Aylesbury take the A413 Wendover Road. At the fourth roundabout cross over onto the B4009 Aylesbury Road. Continue along this route into Wendover town centre where you will turn right onto the B4009 Tring Road. Follow this road for approximately 1/2 mile until you reach a roundabout. Take the second exit onto Wood Lane. From here it will be signposted to Princess Mary Gate.
From High Wycombe follow the M40 West Wycombe Road out of the town and at the roundabout take the 2nd exit onto the A4010 Bradenham Road signposted to Princes Risborough. Follow this road through Princes Risborough taking the first exit at the first roundabout and the 2nd exit at the second roundabout onto the A4010 Aylesbury Road. After approximately 4 miles you wilt reach a roundabout. Take the 2nd exit onto the B4009 Nash Lee Road. At the next roundabout take the 1st exit onto the A413. In Less than ½ mile you will reach another roundabout. Take the 2nd exit onto the B4009 Aylesbury Road. Continue along this route into Wendover town centre where you will turn right onto the B4009 Tring Road. Follow this road for approximately ½ mile until you reach a roundabout. Take the second exit onto Wood Lane. From here it will be signposted to Princess Mary Gate.
