Specification
Every home at The Limes has been carefully designed to combine traditional values with the demands of modern living: style and comfort in equal measure.
This superb development of 120 two, three and four bedroom homes close to Lindfield's ancient High Street, which is lined with lime trees and includes over 40 medieval and post medieval timber-framed buildings. The Limes is designed to give prospective residents the choices they want: whether you’re starting out, have a young family or simply want a lovely new home, there’s something for everyone.
Leisure facilities
The town is a popular destination for eating out, with restaurants including Chinese, Indian, English, Italian, Spanish and French. The majority are on Broadway, a short walk from the station. Nearby villages like Balcombe, Cuckfield, Staplefield & Slaugham offer rustic inns and taverns.
Haywards Heath’s parks, playgrounds and open spaces are well kept, with the council taking particular pride in its floral displays.
The town has a very popular Olympos leisure centre, which includes pools and a health club. If you’re the outdoors type, the relatively hilly surroundings mean opportunities for walking and mountain biking. Football and cricket fans are well served, with various pitches in the town, while tennis players are able to choose from a number of venues. Several golf courses are nearby and courses with sea views are a short drive away.

Transport links
Transport links are excellent: you may be in the country but you’re also well connected. Haywards Heath station is on the fast London-to-Brighton rail line, with easy access to the capital in 45 minutes, and excellent links to other parts of the UK. Many local people work in London while others commute to Brighton, Crawley, Croydon and Gatwick.
The A272 runs through the centre of Haywards Heath. Moving west, it joins the A23 that heads south to Brighton and north to London. The A23 north connects to the motorway network (M23) at Pease Pottage south of Crawley, and then to the M25. Going south, the A23 connects to the A27 at Brighton then, travelling west, this becomes the M27 at Portsmouth before linking with the M3 at Southampton.
Gatwick Airport is 16 miles north from Haywards Heath: a single stop, around 15 minutes, by fast train. You can normally reach Heathrow in an hour via the M25, and get to Luton Airport using Thameslink. In terms of ports, Newhaven is pretty close while other channel crossing points including the tunnel are within a couple of hours’ drive (via A23, M23, M25 and M20). Portsmouth (via A23, A27) and Southampton (via A23, A27, M27) lie to the south and west.
