Like the River Cray which flows from Orpington through to the 'The Crays,' the name given to the villages through which it runs, before turning into Crayford and then in turn into the River Thames. Most notable of the Crays is Foots Cray Meadow just 23 minutes from Vickers Green where you can enjoy 97 hectares of parkland and woodland as well as take in the picturesque Five Arches Bridge as the River Cray flows underneath. Alternatively stay in town and enjoy some amateur dramatics, live music or a day at the dogs.
