Transport links
Residents at Willis Place will be able to get around the local area and further afield with ease thanks to Worcester's excellent transport links. Many of the region's major 'A' routes travel from the city with the A449 running north to Kidderminster, the A44 west towards Leominster and into Wales, the A449 to Malvern and Ledbury whilst both Redditch and Stratford-Upon-Avon are accessible to the east via the A422 / A441. Then running to the east of the city is the M5 motorway which takes you south towards Cheltenham, Gloucester, Bristol and connections with the M50, M4 and M48, or north towards Birmingham and the M42 and M6.
Worcester Shrub Hill is the biggest of the two railway stations serving the city but Worcester Foregate Street is a few minutes closer to Willis Place. Less than a 10 minute drive from the development, both provide regular services to Birmingham New Street (47 mins) via Bromsgrove (18 mins) or via Kidderminster (18 mins) to Birmingham Snow Hill (58 mins). Other services also call at Cheltenham (30 mins), Gloucester (40 mins), Hereford (47 mins), Bristol (1 hour, 33 mins) and London Paddington (2 hours, 23 mins).
The nearest airport to Willis Place is Birmingham International, a 50 minute drive away by car or a 1 hour, 15 minute train journey via Birmingham New Street. From here you can catch flight to destinations worldwide, making it ideal for holiday flights, business trips or weekend breaks away. Alternatively Bristol Airport is a 90 minute car journey south via the M5.
