When Ben Bailey Homes was taken over in 2007, it became part of a national group with developments the length and breadth of England. And although the name disappeared, our commitment to building beautifully designed homes within communities we have served since the 1930’s was never lost.

The name Ben Bailey Homes has now happily been restored at existing developments in Bradford and will also be the name which will spearhead continued expansion in West Yorkshire as the property market starts to recover.

The return to the Ben Bailey Homes brand across Yorkshire, the Midlands and the North of England reflects a new focus for the parent group Gladedale and a genuine commitment to get back to its local roots.

Steve Rider, Sales Director for Ben Bailey Homes, said, “The economic downturn forced us to re-evaluate our priorities and our values and it was patently obvious that the markets for new homes are local ones, where first-hand, community knowledge offers a distinct advantage.

“We have always taken that role seriously and in some cases we are investing in fifth generation developments in the regions we serve. The heritage of Ben Bailey Homes name encapsulates that ethos perfectly so the decision to bring it back was an easy one.”
