House, a former Maternity Hospital, derelict and burnt-out
for around 30 years, situated on one of the premier roads
within the town; West Coker Road.
The company has extensive experience in refurbishing and remodeling buildings of historical significance. This development is
an exciting opportunity to restore and reinstate an important local building, creating a quality new environment. The ashlar stone façade of Balidon House has been painstakingly taken down and
re-used to form the façade of a brand new building, to create 12 spacious apartments.
Original detailing is recreated to produce a building full of character, but which has the benefit of being up to date with
current building standards. To create a fitting setting for Balidon, a
pair of cottages in typical Victorian lodge style will form a gateway to the development leading to a formal square surrounded by a complimentary group of spacious detachedhouses.

town with a population of 40,000, only 130 miles from London, 40 miles south of Bristol and 30 miles from Taunton.
The town’s historic church is surrounded by one of the best shopping centres in the area. Its pedestrian shopping precinct houses many national retailers, a department store and countless specialist shops. Outdoor markets are held on Tuesdays and Fridays.
Beautiful, accessible countryside stretches all along its southern rim and beyond, with footpaths to walk and sights to see. Sporting activities in the area are varied including golf clubs, horse racing at Taunton and Wincanton and many leisure centres and swimming pools.
