Little Chalfont village has a selection of everyday and specialist shops within an easily commutable distance including a post office, pharmacy, butcher, baker, supermarket and around 40 other retail outlets. There are many eateries offering a selection of different cuisines to suit all tastes.
Additionally, the popular Little Chalfont Farmers Market, which is part of the Thames Valley Certified Farmers Co-operative, takes place on the second Saturday of each month. Here, local food producers sell an array of products directly to the public.

Within the village there are two primary schools for younger children, Little Chalfont Primary School and Bell Lane Combined School and Nursery. For secondary school needs, there are the well thought of Dr Challoner’s High School for Girls in Little Chalfont Village itself and Dr Challoner’s Grammar School in the nearby market town of Amersham.
