About Guinness Homes

Guinness Homes is a member of the Guinness Partnership - a non-profit making, charitable
housing association, providing good quality, affordable homes for over 100 years. We currently
own and manage nearly 60,000 homes across England and provide services for over 120,000
customers nationwide.

We are proud of the work we do, and see it as our job to provide good quality homes and services
that will help our customers achieve their goals, ambitions and aspirations. We are continually
working to build neighbourhoods where people will want to live both now and in the future.

Guinness Homes provide a Marketing & Sales service for the Guinness Partnership. We specialise
in the sales of brand new homes on a Shared Ownership basis.

In 2007 The Guinness Trust and Northern Counties Housing Association joined forces. Together with partners Guinness Hermitage, Midsummer, Guinness Care & Support and Kennet we now form The Guinness Partnership. Across the country the Partnership owns over 50,000 homes and employs nearly 2000 staff delivering services to more than 100,000 customers.

The Guinness Partnership is a truly national organisation working in more than 150 local authority areas, and this nationwide presence enables us to provide a wider choice of homes and tenures and a broader range of services to residents.

To reflect this new Partnership, from 1st April 2008 Northern Counties Housing Association became known as Guinness Northern Counties Ltd.

We legally formalised this name change on the 15th September 2008 to coincide with the launch of our new brand.

The legal change from Northern Counties Housing Association Limited to Guinness Northern Counties Limited does not affect any tenancy or lease agreement you have with us. The Association as a legal entity remains the same, with the same Housing Corporation registered number L0407 and Industrial & Provident Society registered number 19203R.
