You could walk to Bradford on Avon station from Kingston Mills, for services to Bath and Salisbury. London Paddington is 1hr 50 minutes – change at Bath, and London Waterloo is 2hrs 30 minutes.
There’s no shortage of things to do and places to visit. In the town centre is a very fine, Grade 1 early 14th century Tithe Barn, and a little further on is the canal wharf and lock – always a popular spot. The canal-side towpath is used by many people for a pleasant walk or cycle ride into Bath.
