Retford is a pleasant market town which can be found half way between Worksop and Gainsborough. At the heart of the town is the magnificent market square, which has been an important trading place since at least the twelfth century, and where traditional markets are still held Thursday to Saturday.

It is also less than 3 miles from the A1 road for travel north to Doncaster or south to Mansfield, and boasts an excellent bus service offering regular routes to local towns and villages. For travel further afield, the newly opened Robin Hood International Airport is only ten miles away.
