Local shopping
The main shopping area is around the High Street and its adjoining streets, along with a modern shopping centre. A market is held every Thursday and Saturday, whilst there are several supermarkets, both in and out of the town centre. The River Anton passes through Andover and this, along with the Georgian Guildhall and St. Mary’s Church, are prominent features.
Schools and education

By car, the nearby A303 Honiton to Basingstoke road links with the M3 for journeys north-east to the M25 and London, or south-west to Southampton. Winchester is only 15 miles away and is reached via the A303/A34, whilst in the opposite direction, the A34 links with the M4, north of Newbury. Salisbury is 21 miles away via the A303/A343/A30.
For rail travellers, Andover station is just over 2 miles from Picket Twenty and provides direct services to many destinations including London Waterloo, with a fastest journey time of 1 hour 9 minutes and Basingstoke, Salisbury and Exeter.
