West Timperley Medical Centre is located on Dawson Road and there are two dental practices - Altrincham Dental Practice on Manchester Road and KS Dental in nearby Sale. The town also has two hospitals, one general and one private. This market offers quality local and speciality produce in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Shoppers will find a good mix of shops and food retailers at the newly completed Stamford Quarter shopping centre.

The Trafford Centre in nearby Manchester offers unrivalled shopping opportunities with a vast array of designer, boutique and high street names all under one roof. Just a short drive up the M60, Manchester also has an excellent array of restaurants, clubs and leisure faculties.
