Wakefield Theatre Royal has regular drama, musical, comedy and live music performances. In addition, there is the Xscape entertainment complex in Castleford. Westgate Run is famous for its lively nightlife.

Qubana Restaurant & Grill in Northgate, Brewers Fayre at Rhubarb Triangle on Herriot Way, Kashmiri Aroma also on Herriot Way, and The Bay Horse Inn on Bradford Road are all good dining options within easy reach of the development. Wakefield's The Harewood Arms, Prego Pizzeria, Mex cantina and Quo Vadis are also fantastic venues.
