Transport connections are excellent as the town sits at a crossroads of two major roads - the A70 and A76, which has by-passed the town for the past 15 years. Prestwick Airport is little more than half an- hour’s drive away in one direction, while Glasgow International Airport is an easy drive in the other, between them providing regular flights throughout the UK, Europe, the USA and the Middle-East.
