    We understand that your investment is more than just bricks and mortar and most landlords have a strong connection to their properties. In many cases, it was once yours or a family member's home, and often a huge amount of hard work has been put in to renovate it.

They will check multiple key indicators, at many stages in the process, using the latest innovative software to make sure they find the perfect people for your property.

    Throughout the process you'll be looked after by your assigned property manager who will get to know your home top to bottom as well as being your sole point of contact so that you can easily get any queries answered and know you're in safe hands.

    At Absolute we genuinely care about the well-being and happiness of our tenants, after all we hope that you will stay in your rented property for as long as possible and hope that if one day you have the opportunity to buy or sell a home you would want to come back and use us again.

    Most landlords opt to use one of our award winning management services where we will look after you and your new home from move-in to move-out and we have some useful tools to help you when you move in to ensure things get dealt with in as timely a manner as humanly possible.

    You will also be assigned a property manager who you will get to know and with whom you can get in touch with to help you whenever you need help. This is usually the person you met when you were shown around the property!

    Simon Fisher MARLA - Founding Director
    I have been in the property industry since the early 1990's in Torbay, initially as an estate agent before becoming a mortgage broker in the early 2000's. I decided to open my own agency in Bedford back in 2006 which until the crash of 2007/8 was focussed on sales. We then quickly expanded into the lettings market and grew the business to managing over 250 properties within a couple of years before I decided to move back to South Devon and sold that business to my business partner. As one of the founding directors of Absolute in 2010, in the past decade I have overseen it's growth from a single office with 2 staff members to a team of 30+ across 5 offices with additional departments such as block management.

    I have the pleasure of working with my entire family in the business and the fact there are 5 of us still working in it day to day really helps to keep the family feel of Absolute despite our ever growing numbers and reach.

    Chelsey Durrant - Lettings Director
    After graduating from Exeter University in 2013, I decided to join and grow the family business and was proud to have been appointed as Director in 2021.Over the years, I have seen the company expand from our branch in Torquay, to now 5 branches across the South West, and have played a large part in growing our lettings portfolio to over 400 properties, becoming the largest independent lettings team in Torbay & Teignbridge.I'm passionate about helping local landlords make informed decisions with buy-to-let properties from initial purchase. Importantly ensuring that they remain compliant throughout their tenancy journey and helping them to maintain happy relationships with their tenants, to secure a profitable but stable long-term investment.

    I first started in agency in 2016 working in smaller and a larger independent and then I joined Absolute in August 2022 as the Torbay Lettings Manager. My main aim is to give a great customer service alongside helping landlords with one of the most valuable assets - their investment. I am Torbay born and bred which helps with the day to day of my role as I know the local area so well.

I have lived in Torbay all my life albeit with a little stint in London when I worked for British Airways for 5 years, so I consider myself a true Brixham local.I am looking to build close working relationships with my landlords and want to provide an excellent and seamless service for them.     I originally set up Absolute with my husband Simon back in 2010 and before that we had an agency in Bedford. Having worked in banking, I know the importance of getting paperwork and customer service right first time. Therefore, part of my job is making sure all aspects of the move-in process, both for our landlords and tenants, is done correctly.I strive to give prospective and on-going clients the best experience possible in what is typically a stressful time. The best part of the job is seeing happy customers when they pick up their keys on move in day and knowing that landlords have left their property in good hands.Over the years we have built a strong, amazing team and I am incredibly proud to be part of the growth of Absolute.

    Danni Sword - Finance Manager
    I first joined Absolute Sales and Lettings back in 2010 shortly after they first opened. I stayed for a year and completed a Sales and Lettings Negotiator apprenticeship. I then went onto university and not long after that, decided that I wanted to travel so flew to Australia, where I stayed for 3 and a half years. I returned to Absolute at the beginning of September 2020, 10 years on and have re-joined as the Finance Manager, having studied an Accounting and Bookkeeping course in Sydney.

    This role includes the processing of all the rental payments and paying any related invoices for the landlords, as well as dealing with all of the business accounts and invoicing.
