The late Thomas Bracewell established Acland Bracewell Surveyors Limited in 1970, primarily to manage the Lilford Estate, an agricultural estate predominately situated within West Lancashire and the western part of what now is Greater Manchester. Tomís son, Roger, continues in the family practice as a director of the current firm, which is based in the rural village of Tarleton, midway between Preston and Southport.
Whilst traditional rural estate management remains the firmís core business, we are specialists on the use and management of all kinds of rural property and our practice has continually developed over many years, to provide professional management services on behalf of private and institutional clients for both rural and urban property.
The practice provides clients with professional advice and valuation expertise on a wide range of issues affecting the countryside, as detailed more fully under our PROFESSIONAL SERVICES section. The firm continues to build on its good connections and local knowledge and has developed into one of the leading practices in the North West of England offering a complete range of professional land management services on all rural property matters.
We are regulated by The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and have a strong involvement with the Central Association of Agricultural Valuers (CAAV). The firm and all its professional staff maintain a commitment to lifelong learning, abide by the RICS and CAAV rules of conduct and are dedicated to providing a high standard of professional service delivered with all the care and diligence that you would expect of us.
