We decided to put our house on the market after a lot of deliberation during a busy stage of our family's life. Having never sold a property before we didn't know what to expect but had heard horror stories about houses sitting on the market for months, sales falling through, etc. When we met Alex and Sarah we knew they were different to other estate agents. We loved how friendly, honest and positive they were and it was clear they both have a lot of experience. Our house went under offer within a couple of weeks. All estate agents are NOT the same! This independent and customer-focused couple were recommended by a close friend. From the get go they differentiated themselves from other agents. On first visit, Alex clearly demonstrated he had done his homework. He had plans printed of the works we had done on the house and immediately suggested the 'downsize' type of buyer that we had felt would match the property. Their valuation was higher than we had expected and Sarah found the buyers by encouraging them to come and see the property, even though it was not within their budget, as she knew it was what they wanted. A super service from start to finish. They maintained the sale process through the COVID-19 lockdown and pushed the exchange and completion, neither of which would have occurred if not for them. We would not hesitate to use Alex & Sarah again, or recommend them to others. 

From the moment we called we knew that Alex and Sarah weren't your 'typical' estate agents. They were inquisitive, responsive and personable. We viewed the property we'd fallen in love with without any pressure or 'sales pitch'! They helped us buy our new home and sold our previous property in days. Alex Harvey are great at what they do. There are estate agents and then there is Alex. He's in a different league. He's a breath of fresh air with his total transparency and 24/7 365 support. We honestly couldn't recommend Alex and his team anymore. From our first meeting with Alex, we loved his enthusiasm and attention to detail. As with any great sales agent, It was important for him to understand why we loved our house so much so that he could portrait this to potential buyers. I had valuations & met with three agents. I chose Alex as he highlighted so many factors at our first meeting. It is a small team with a most effective and efficient 'cog in wheels' business ethos. Sam conducted the viewings enthusiastically and successfully. The offer negotiated to full asking price and communicated on a Sunday afternoon. Sarah Harvey then took over and became the 'jewel in the crown' with our sale due to an extremely problematic first link in the chain. Sarah cohesively became the effective link between the agents of the chain and worked tirelessly to bring the sale to completion. By supporting our buyers it reduced the stress significantly for us. Impressively all members of the team returned any voicemails within 30 minutes. Therefore we highly recommend them from our experience.

I have recently purchased a property via Alex and Sarah. From initial contact there was none of the typical pushiness I had experienced from estate agents elsewhere. Alex had great knowledge of the area the property is in and was able to answer any questions I had there and then. The purchase wasn't the most straightforward due to the vendors rather incapable solicitor unfortunately, but Alex and Sarah did a fantastic job of keeping things moving and often stepping in to do things that the solicitor should have been doing really! Communication was brilliant too - I'm not always the easiest to get hold of on the phone, so it was great that Sarah was happy to keep me updated via WhatsApp and answer any additional queries I had throughout the process (often out of "normal" hours too)Highly recommended!

Alex was absolutely brilliant, we had a nightmare chain but Alex was always on top of things, easy to get hold of and every step of the way we knew he was doing everything he could to help! I never really trusted estate agents before but Alex has changed that and if we need an estate agent again we will most definitely use Alex Harvey!!
