    ENERGY PERFORMANCE CERTIFICATES (EPC)

    EPCs were introduced by the European Parliament to encourage home owners and tenants to improve the energy efficiency of their properties and reduce their carbon footprint. The EPC is produced by a Domestic Energy Assessor, who visits the property to collect certain information, which is then used to produce the report. This contains a colour-coded graph showing how energy efficient the property is and what it's environmental impact is. The report also lists any changes that can be made to the property to improve its rating.

    Aspire Estate Agents use independent and local Domestic Energy Assessors which means the EPC can be completed very quickly, thus ensuring there is no delay in putting your property on the market. EPCs are also required for rented properties and have to be provided by landlords re-letting their property. Having our own Energy Assessor also means that any properties let through Aspire Estate Agents can be re-let quickly.
