    Since 1958, Bramleys have hosted regular auctions in the sale of antiques and household effects in the last remaining sales room at our head office in St Georges Square, Huddersfield. Our sales room Manager Kevin Shaw has a wealth of expert knowledge in valuing antique pieces and auctioning them to the general public, including a selection of furniture dealers. He can attend properties on behalf of our clients and provide advice on the disposal of the items.

    Items that we deal with regulary, but are not limited to, are clocks, tables, jewellery, reproduction furniture, pictures and paintings, pottery, glassware, metalware, books, pianos and general household contents.

    Carreen Beety MNAEA - Branch Manager
    Having lived in Heckmondwike all her life, she provides a wealth of experience of the locality and varied property styles within the Spen Valley. Carreen started her property journey in 1992 before being employed as sales negotiator for Holmes and Gardner. Bramleys incorporated Holmes and Gardner in the early 2000's and quickly recognised Carreen's talents, promoting her to Branch Manager in 2004 where she has led her team ever since.

    Gemma Oldroyd MNAEA -  Branch Manager
    Originally working for Holmes and Gardner which was purchased by Bramleys in 2004, Gemma progressed to Senior Negotiator at our Mirfield office. Following a short break for maternity, Gemma returned and currently operates a dual role as Valuer and Branch Manager across our Spen Valley office. Coming from a property background as her father was a well-known property developer within the area, she has extensive knowledge and expertise for all things property related.

    Commencing her employment as an office junior in 1997 working for a corporate agency, she quickly progressed through the ranks to a senior sales negotiator.
