    We receive regular enquiries from prospective tenants and local employers, these are monitored and matched to properties that our landlords have available to let. We also advertise regularly in the local press and via the internet on our own website and Rightmove.com. The Residential Letting Market is very active and many people are renting rather than buying. In addition there are always house owners seeking a short term let between moves.

Brown & Brand Policy

    A full credit search will be carried out on applicants.

    Satisfactory references are essential.

    Working tenants will need a joint income of two and half times the rent.

    If a financial guarantor is required, they will need to have an income of three times the rent.

    Brown & Brand will carry out a home visit on applicants prior to the tenancy commencing.

    Administration fee is £260 inc VAT

    Additional £90 inc VAT for a guarantor.

    Should a Landlord agree to any pets, a non refundable £150 will be charged and used to sanitize the property on vacation.

    One month's rent in cleared funds will be required prior to tenancy commencement.

    One and half months deposit in cleared funds, prior to tenancy commencement.

    Rent will be paid by standing order thereafter, ensuring cleared funds received on rent due date.

    Paul started the original Brown & Brand business back in 1983 (obviously at a very young age!). Initially Brown & Brand focused on Chartered Surveying and Property Sales but quickly added Lettings, Management and Financial Services. Paul's ethos in business is simply to offer the most attentive and professional service to all clients. Paul is now a highly regarded and forward thinking Property Professional with over 30 years experience he is happy to share. Aside from business Paul's passion is sport and he must be commended for continuing to suffer at the hands of his beloved Spurs.

      My career began in the Estate Agency industry from the tender age of 17 working for various corporate companies before joining Brown and Brand. This was in September 2009 after taking some time out traveling around Australia enjoying the sunshine and lifestyle. I refer to my colleagues as my work family as we all get on so well. The best part of the job is you get to meet lots of different people and my aim is to make sure everyone's move goes as smoothly as possible, advising clients in a professional manner ensuring they achieve the best possible price. In my spare time I enjoy socialising with friends and I am also a huge animal lover so if I am on an appointment and the owners have pets, my day gets that little bit better.

      Ollie joined Brown & Brand in 2009.  After doing 2 years part time whilst at college he became a full time sales negotiator.  You will find Ollie on valuations and accompanied viewings or in the office dealing with general enquiries to negotiating and progressing sales, or dealing with the IT issues in the office .  Due to this, his business card should say 'Jack of All Trades'  Along with property, Ollie enjoys spending his time in the Gym or watching sport, particularly Football and American Football.

      Rebecca joined our sales team in early 2015, and is a part time working mum with two young children at home, so is excellent at multi-tasking.
